Qatar attends high-level ministerial meeting on new trends in education


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Minister of Education and Higher Education H E Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi, participated yesterday in the high-level ministerial meeting on new trends in education, as part of the activities of the Istanbul Education Summit.

The event was organised virtually by the Turkish Maarif Foundation and was inaugurated by Turkish President H E Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and H E Dr. Mahmut Ozer, Minister of National Education, and H E Prof. Birol Akgun, President of the Turkish Maarif Foundation, with the participation of a number of Ministers of Education.

The two-day event virtual sessions, will discuss the future of education, globalisation and globalization of curricula, the impact of digitization on education, education and development, reformulating educational systems, in addition to education and social justice.

The Istanbul Education meeting is an international platform for education that brings together people and institutions with distinguished business and activities in the field of education to discuss future perspectives, theoretical approaches and best practices and exchange experiences in the field of education between different countries of the world
