Omer Yezdani


(MENAFN- The Conversation) Dr Omer Yezdani is the Director of the Office of Planning and Strategic Management at ACU. Previously, Omer was Chair of the Australian Network of University Planners (ANUP), Senior Advisor in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, State Program Director in the Department of Education and Training, and an occasional lecturer in leadership and management. Omer has presented at numerous conferences and seminars around the world, and has research interests in higher education and the study of complex systems. Omer has received two Excellence Awards in People Management and Strategy, the IPAA Best Practice in Federal Government Award, a Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship award for study in Latin America, a technology special ventures project with Stanford University. Omer's qualifications include a Bachelor of Business (Marketing), MBA, and PhD in complex systems. Omer is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
