Chelsea is reportedly set to make a 'monster' £84million bid to sign Juventus forward Federico Chiesa. According to The Mirror, Chelsea is eager to sign Chiesa. The 24-year-old is currently on loan at Juventus from Fiorentina.
Chelsea is currently top of the Premier League table and their UEFA Champions League group. The Blues are one of the favorites to win the Premier League and also to retain their European title. Chelsea has one of the best squads in Europe and has been in great form. However, Thomas Tuchel is reportedly keen to improve his Chelsea squad next summer. The German is a massive fan of Juventus star Chiesa.
Federico Chiesa was one of the biggest prospects in Italian football. The young star caught the eye of big European clubs over the summer after putting in some exceptional performances. He was one of the stars of Italy's Euro 2020 win, winning two man-of-the-match performances. Chiesa was also named in the Euro 2020 Team of the Tournament. He has scored three goals and assisted three in 15 games this season.
According to the reports, the likes of Bayern Munich and Chelsea have shown interest in Chiesa and it now looks the Blues have won the battle. Chelsea is willing to make an £84million bid to sign the 24-year-old at the end of the season. Tuchel wants to add an extra dimension of skill and pace to Chelsea's forward line and Federico Chiesa could be a great addition.
