(MENAFN- The Conversation) MacIntosh Ross earned his PhD in socio-cultural kinesiology at Western University in London, Ontario, Canada. His previous work can be found in the academic journals: Sport and Social Issues; Journal of Sport History; Sport History Review; and the International Journal for the History of Sport. His current research focuses on the social significance of boxing and the human rights ramifications of the Olympic Games. He has also worked in the boxing industry as a manager, PR consultant, colour commentator, and play-by-play analyst.
