(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Passenger traffic at Boryspil International Airport is expected to reach 9.5 million passengers in 2021.
Director of International Boryspil Airport Oleksiy Dubrevskyi said this at the infrastructure forum“Great Construction: Aviation. Tourism” on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
'In 2021, the airport plans to serve 9.5 million passengers, which proves traffic resumption at 62% of the pre-crisis performance in 2019,' said Dubrevskyi.
In 2022, the airport may serve 13.1 million passengers. Dubrevskyi added that as of today, 37 airlines offer services from Boryspil International Airport to 117 destinations. In 2021, eight new companies launched flights from the airport. In addition, airlines announced 12 new destinations from the airport.
As Ukrinform reported, Boryspil International Airports served 8,008,050 passengers in January-October 2021.
