Boris Johnson reshapes his company advisory council

(MENAFN) Following a public outcry over his highly panned talk at the CBI's yearly meeting, Downing Street has begun working on reorganizing Boris Johnson's company consultants.

Sky News has learned that participants of the Build Back Better Council (BBBC) were consulted by officials at Number 10 in previous weeks to notify them that their participation in 2022 are unnecessary.

The group, which began meeting in January, included executives from companies such as Balfour Beatty, BP, British Airways, BT Group, GlaxoSmithKline, HSBC Holdings, and ITV.

Its members were selected for a 12-month period, but it is now stated that Downing Street is seeking a second board of names to be ordained to the committee in 2022.
