Plastic surgery ads aim at teens will no longer be available

(MENAFN) Cosmetic procedure advertisements should not be targeted at people below the age of 18 starting next year, according to the governor.

Enterprises will be unable to promote procedures that alter one's bodily looks, such as breast implants or reduction, "tummy tucks," eyelid surgery, nose job, or plastic surgeries, under new laws.
Teeth whitening goods, skincare products, and implantable treatments, exfoliation, and dermal fillers are also prohibited.

Such advertisements would be prohibited from airing all over TV programs that are appealing to whom are below 18 years old, as well as in mainstream press aimed at young people or with a considerable majority of that age category in the viewers, beginning in May of next year.
