Christmas holiday to curtail as vendors decrease available products

(MENAFN) According to industry executives, the supply chain issue had compelled firms to move aside from "piling high and selling cheap," whilst holiday necessities would be accessible, several "extras" that may entice buyers will not be available.

MPs were informed that this year's Christmas will be "scaled back" as vendors decrease the range of products available to deal with supply chain burdens. Supply chains have been overstretched due to the scarcity of HGV drivers, prompting concerns of shortfalls on store shelves this holiday time.

The Cold Chain Federation's CEO, Shane Brennan, informed the Commons Transport Select Committee there might probably be fewer choice as vendors reduce their scope to make sure they could transport essential commodities.
