Turkish established COVID inoculation in need for authorization

(MENAFN) According to Turkish health minister, the country’s nationally developed coronavirus inoculation Turkovac applied for emergency use authorization.

Fehrettin Koca announced at the government's Planning and Budget Commission conference, the inoculation was given to Turkey’s Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (TITCK).

Koca added "We hope it will be in widespread use by the end of this year," marking "I wish our vaccine to be beneficial for our country, and the entire world."

The inactive inoculation, co-developed by the country’s Health Ministry, Health Institutes of Turkey, and Erciyes University, finished Phase 1 and 2 tests in Turkey, and Phase 3 analyses will end soon as well.
