8 deaths, 17 wounded in Somali capital Mogadishu


(MENAFN) A car blasting in Somalia's capital Mogadishu left over eight people dead and more than 17 others hurt, according to officials.

The attack was aimed at a group of the African Union peacekeeping job in Somalia (AMISOM), in line with a police officer who updated Anadolu Agency.

The officer added "The bomb attack took place during rush hour and there is a lot casualty but I can confirm that at least eight people were killed and more than 17 others were wounded."

He also said that deaths and wounded people were students and teachers who were located at a school close to the explosion location.
