Expo 2020 supports UAE’s virtual economic growth


(MENAFN) The main official of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced, Expo 2020 Dubai proved to be a facilitator for the UAE’s economic expansion, which is expected to grow faster than 2020, while Dubai pursues to apply moves to expand its virtual economy and empower the environmental system of start-ups.

On Tuesday, Nov. 23 Hamad Buamim, president and chief executive of Dubai Chamber, said to The National regarding the offshoots of the 12th World Chambers Congress in Dubai, the UAE’s economy is reviving powerfully form the Covid-19 pandemic and other harmed industries from the worldwide slump are growing.

The chief executive stated, “We have diversified our economy,” adding “[In] the last quarter or so, even those [sectors] that weakened [during the pandemic], they have started to recover quite well.”
