(MENAFN- Gulf Times) His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and the Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq visited Monday the Al Bayt Stadium, which will host the opening matches of the 2021 FIFA Arab Cup and the World Cup 2022.
During the visit, His Highness the Amir and the Sultan viewed models of the World Cup 2022 stadiums and its training facilities and fan zones, in addition to being equipped with the latest cooling technologies.
His Highness the Amir and the Sultan were briefed on Al Bayt's stadium architecture, its capacity, and the atmosphere it will provide to sports fans.
His Highness the Amir and the Sultan of Oman were accompanied by a number of Their Excellencies Ministers and ranking officials.
On the Omani side, the Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs Shihab bin Tarek Al Said, and Their Excellencies members of the official accompanying delegation accompanied the Sultan.
