Riyadh, November 22, 2021, SPA -- Acting Minister of Media, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Broadcasting Authority (SBA), patronized here on Sunday SBA's celebration of the World Television Day.
In a speech delivered on this occasion, , Dr. Al-Qasabi stressed the importance of the message presented by television throughout its history, indicating that the opportunity exists for every creator despite the difficulty of competition that is governed by many criteria.
He noted the importance of continuing the journey of success and advancing the media message due to the amazing developmental leaps that the Kingdom is witnessing.
SBA's CEO, Mohammed bin Fahad Al-Harthi, announced the launch of a media content hackathon to turn ideas into reality on television.
The celebration witnessed many artistic and lyrical segments that brought the audience back to old memories. It also witnessed the honoring of seven programs that won preference awards at the Arab Radio and Television Festival in Tunisia last month, in the presence of the most prominent figures and media names that served Saudi TV.
