Nasdaq ends higher on Friday, Dow, S&P 500 close low


(MENAFN) On Friday, the Nasdaq ended the day higher, on the other hand, the Dow Jones and the S&P 500 close the last exchange day of the week negatively.

The Dow fell 269 points, or 0.75 percent, to reach 35,602, while the blue-chip index decreased 1.38 percent in the week, while The S&P 500 dropped 6 points, or 0.14 percent, to end Friday at 4,698, as it recorded a week-on-week profits of 0.32 percent.

The Nasdaq further increased 63 points, or 0.4 percent, to end the meeting at 16,057 ahead of reaching a record high of 16,121.12 points, as the tech-heavy index rose 1.23 percent for the week.
