Saraya Aqaba Waterpark draws 50 Smiles on World Children’s Day

(MENAFN- Bashir Mraish Consultancy) Saraya Aqaba Waterpark, the first of its kind in Aqaba and the largest in the Kingdom of Jordan, opened its doors to 50 children and orphans in celebration of World Children’s Day. The event, which is part of a wider function dubbed ‘Hope Canvas’, was held in partnership with Hareer Initiative, a Jordan-based charity organization that looks after children with cancer.

‘Hope Canvas’ is a unique opportunity for young talents to unleash their artistic skills and use their imagination on a larger-than-life canvas. It was first initiated based on the wishes of Farah, a passionate little girl whose dream was to have her paintings displayed on the beaches of Ayla, Aqaba.

Following through the same path, the paintings drawn by children at Saraya Aqaba Waterpark were compiled and featured alongside many on a 220-sqm canvas at the golf course in Ayla, Aqaba, on November 20. During their visit, they enjoyed various rides, slides and experiences offered at the Park, in addition to family-friendly eateries and shopping outlets.

Saraya Aqaba Waterpark officially opened its doors in July of this year. The Park will continue operating with exciting rides and attractions for guests of all ages up until the seasonal closure on November 29.
