Jordan - Rainfall forecast countrywide, drop in temps until Sunday - JMD


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Nov. 19 (Petra)--- Unstable weather conditions are forecast on Friday to affect the Kingdom, bringing rainfall, accompanied by lightning and thunder, in most parts, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
Winds will be northwesterly moderate, picking up at times, the JMD added.
The department warns of flash floods in valleys and low-lying areas due to rainfall, low-visibility due to low-altitude clouds in hilly areas and slippery roads.
Temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 18 degrees Celsius, while lows will stand at 10 degrees.
Highs in the port city of Aqaba will hike up to 27 degrees, sliding to 17 degrees at night.
