Manama, November 18, 2021, SPA -- The Kingdom of Bahrain has strongly condemned the drone attack attempt of the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militia to target Abha International Airport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in a repeated and continuous targeting of civilian objects and facilities in the Kingdom, constituting a clear contravention of international humanitarian law.
According to BNA, the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs commended the efficiency and vigilance of the Saudi Air Defense Force, which was able to intercept and destroy the drone, stressing the solidarity of the Kingdom of Bahrain with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its support for all the measures it takes to preserve its security, stability and the safety of its citizens and residents, and to confront the heinous terrorist attacks of the Houthis.
