Saudi - Dr. Al-Othaimeen Thanks Leadership after End of His Tenure as OIC Secretary General


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Jeddah, November 18, 2021, SPA -- Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen has expressed gratitude and appreciation for Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the current President of the Islamic Summit, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, for their confidence in nominating him for the OIC secretary general post for a five-year term that ended on November 16, 2021.
In a statement, Dr. Al-Othaimeen stressed that the big support he received from the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the host country of OIC, has facilitated his mission in enhancing joint Islamic action, serving Islamic world causes, and developing the performance of the OIC Secretariat General with the help of all employees.
