Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid visits Jordan "Dubai 2020 Expo pavilion


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Dubai, Nov. 13 (Petra) -- Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, on Saturday visited the Jordanian pavilion at the Dubai Expo 2020, where he was received by Prime Minister, Bisher Khasawneh.
Khasawneh accompanied Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid on a tour at the Jordanian pavilion, and was briefed on its components, presentations, programs and events.
The prime minister, in the presence of Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs Ibrahim Al-Jazi and Jordan Ambassador to the UAE Nassar Habashneh, said that the Jordanian pavilion, entitled "Thresholds of the Future", was designed to reflect Jordanian achievements in many economic and social sectors.
Khasawneh also stressed the importance of the Dubai Expo in strengthening cooperation and partnerships, congratulating the UAE on its success in hosting this important international event.
On the other hand, the premier on Saturday met with Jordanians in charge of the pavilion at the Expo, and urged them to reflect the true image of Jordan and its achievements in various fields.
Khasawneh stressed that Jordan is distinguished by its human cadres and by its entrepreneurs and creative youth who are the focus of trust and attention of His Majesty King Abdullah and HRH Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, pointing out that many Jordanian youths have achieved global recognition.
"Our country is a hub and a milestone in work and achievement that is a source of pride for all of us," Khasawneh concluded.
