Facebook rejects claims of child abuse

(MENAFN) A previous Facebook worker has said to American officials the firm’s hard works to eliminate child abuse content from the site were "inadequate" and "under-resourced".

The assumptions are involved in files viewed by BBC News and sent to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) before two weeks.

The unidentified whistleblower reports mediators are "not sufficiently trained and are ill prepared".

Social media company Facebook wrote in a report: “We have no tolerance for this abhorrent abuse of children and use sophisticated technologies to combat it.” Adding, “We've funded and helped build the tools used by industry to investigate this terrible crime, rescue children and bring justice to victims.”
