PM receives NCHR 2020 report, orders stakeholders to act upon


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Oct. 27 (Petra) -- Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh received on Wednesday a copy of the National Center for Human Rights's (NCHR) report on the status of human rights in the Kingdom in 2020 and ordered all government stakeholders to act on the recommendations and findings of the flagship report.
The report was submitted to the premier by NCHR Chairman of the Board of Trustees Irhail Gharaibeh. The prime minister said his government is committed to enhancing human rights and basic freedoms in the Kingdom and build on the achievements Jordan has made in this field.
Khasawneh indicated that all government entities and stakeholders are required to cooperate with the center to address all recommendations and observations set forth in the report.
