(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Oct. 27 (Petra) -- Minister of Culture Haifaa Al Najjar on Tuesday met with Belgian ambassador in Amman Philipp Bulk for a discussion on ways to develop cultural exchange and cooperation between the two countries.
Al Najjar stressed the importance of enhancing cultural relationship between the two countries which have many things in common and was established by their wise leaderships.

The minister noted that Jordan welcomes refugees from neighboring countries, shares its resources with them, and guarantees their rights to education, health, culture, and decent life, just as it does for its citizens.
Jordan, Al Najjar added, always welcomes cooperation with other countries to exchange knowledge and expertise, and to promote its cultural product to the world. She said that ministry is ready to draw up cooperation programs with Belgium to benefit the cultural movement between the two countries.
For his part, ambassador Bulk noted that the Royal Film Commission and the Jordanian Culture Ministry signed in July an agreement with the Flanders Department of Culture, Youth and Media, pointing that they pay attention to film-making. He said his country is ready to develop this agreement to include more cultural sectors as well as training.
