Abdihamid Warsame is a Research Fellow in Humanitarian Health at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. His current research, as part of the RECAP consortium, centres on developing, piloting and evaluating the application of improved metrics of performance in humanitarian settings and epidemics.

Abdihamid has extensive humanitarian experience. Prior to joining the LSHTM, Abdihamid served as a member of Save the Children's Humanitarian Surge Team. In this role, he has worked to strengthen public health information management in the Rohingya crisis in Bangladesh, the Syrian Crisis, Sierra Leone, Yemen, South Sudan, Ethiopia and Somalia. Abdihamid has also worked as monitoring and evaluation officer in Somalia and Kenya and consulted for the World Health Organization. He is a member of the Global Health Cluster's Public Health Information Services Task Team as well as the Conflict and Health Research Group at King's College London. He holds an MSc in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
