(MENAFN- Gulf Times) HE the Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Qassim al-Abdullah al-Thani Sunday met Moon Sung Wook, Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Korea. During the meeting, the officials touched on the bilateral relations between the two countries and discussed aspects of joint co-operation, especially in trade, investments, and industry as well as ways to enhance and develop them. The meeting also discussed trade policies between the two countries and the efforts exerted by both to confront the Covid-19 pandemic. The minister also highlighted the economic policies put in place by Qatar to support the private sector. These included the incentives, legislations, and promising opportunities that were made available to companies wishing to invest and establish a presence in Qatar. A Qatari-Korean Business Meeting was organised on the sidelines of the Korean delegation's visit to the country. The meeting aimed to strengthen and expand trade, investment, and industrial relations between the two nations by reaching practical mechanisms to increase the volume of trade and investment exchange, create effective partnerships, and attract new investments to the Qatari market.
