Doha: Bunts Qatar, an Associate Organization of Indian Cultural Center (ICC) under the aegis of Embassy of India, organised a Breast Cancer Awareness Walkathon at Qatar Foundation Oxygen Park on Friday.
President Dr. Padmashree Shetty welcomed the gathering and thanked the members and their children who turned up in large numbers and contributed enthusiastically towards the success of the noble event.
Dr. Shamika Arjun Shetty gave an informative talk on the diagnosis, treatment and self-examination of breast cancer to detect it at an early stage.
Cultural Secretary Vibha Krishna Shetty compered the programme. The event was ably supported by all MC committee members.
Bunts Qatar and Advisory Committee President Deepak Shetty, former President Navaneeth Shetty, MC committee members and children were present for this noble cause.
