Value of export from Bushehr province in of Iran increases 87 percent


(MENAFN) According to a provincial official, the rate of export from Bushehr province in the southwest of Iran increased 87 percent in the first six months of the current Iranian year in comparison to the previous year same time span.

Some 13.331 million tons of products valued at USD4.63 billion were exported from the province in the mentioned period, also showing 15 percent growth in terms of weight, the head of the province’s Industry, Mining and Trade Department, Hasan Hosseini said.

Furthermore; he mentioned petrochemicals, gas condensate, minerals, fisheries, and vegetables as the main exported products, and China, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Turkey, India, Pakistan, South Africa, Brazil, Qatar, Nigeria, and Afghanistan as the major export destinations.

The worth of Iran’s non-oil trade increased 47 percent in the first six months of the current Iranian year, in comparison to the previous year same time span, the head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) declared.
