Qatari Ambassador to Palestine launches hospital for prosthetics in Gaza

(MENAFN) Mohammed al-Emadi, Qatari Ambassador to Palestine, launched a hospital for rehabilitation and prosthetics in northern Gaza Strip.

Al-Emadi declared that the Gaza Strip "is going to be better this year and the coming years," in the inauguration ceremony.

Qatar was applying great efforts with all parties, including Israel and the Palestinians, to avert a new round of tension in the Gaza Strip, the official further stated in a meeting with Yahya Sinwar, the leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the Gaza Strip.

Qatar carried on its financial support paid to thousands of needy families in the besieged Gaza Strip, home of over two million Palestinians.
