(MENAFN- UkrinForm) President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky had a phone conversation with Prime Minister of the State of Israel Naftali Bennett.
“Volodymyr Zelensky noted the symbolism of the state visit of Israeli President Isaac Herzog to Ukraine in October 2021, during which the leaders took part in events to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Babyn Yar tragedy,” the press service of the Head of State informs.
Naftali Bennett thanked the President of Ukraine for passing the law on preventing and combating anti-Semitism in Ukraine.
In turn, the President of Ukraine thanked Bennett for Israel's consistent support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, in particular within the UN.
The parties also discussed further steps to deepen Ukraine–Israel cooperation in the areas of mutual interest.
