(MENAFN) The Arab Assembly uttered condolences over latest comment by France’s Premier Emmanuel Macron against Algeria, and labelled them “irresponsible and unacceptable.”
The assembly stated it was as well shocked by the statement, “which deny a despicable colonial history.”
Moreover, it condoled with the bout on Algeria’s ancient history that is an admirable part of the history of the Arab world, mainly with its rich cultural inheritance of confrontation, martyr and fight for liberty.
The assembly also said “its support for Algeria’s leadership and people against every abuse that affects its identity, historical heritage and achievements written with the blood of millions of martyrs.”
