A five-year-old Motorola smartphone saved its owner’s life by deflecting a bullet fired during an armed robbery. The phone in question is the Moto G5. To add to the drama, it had a phone case featuring The Incredible Hulk. As a result, the Marvel superhero and the Moto G5 were able to block a bullet and save the owner’s life.
According to the Daily Mail, the event occurred last week in Brazil during a robbery attempt. According to the allegation, the bullet was first stopped by the Moto G5 smartphone before grazing the owner’s hip. The man had a slight bruise on his hip but no other injuries as a result of the gunshot. So, the phone had definitely saved its owner’s life.
According to photographs given by the doctor who treated the phone’s owner, the Moto G5 took all of the bullet’s damage and was fully smashed. The bullet broke the phone’s screen. It caused a large dent in the rear due to the power of the impact.
The Hulk case on the phone is also visible, giving the entire situation a metaphorical meaning. The Moto G5 isn’t popular for being a tough smartphone. But it does have a large body when compared to today’s tiny and delicate designs.
Smartphones are famous to take a bullet and save their owners in the past. According to PhoneArena , a Samsung Galaxy Mega and an iPhone were able to protect their owners from gunfire.
