Minister of Health meets WHO official

Geneva: Minister of the Ministry of Public health (MoPH) H E Dr. Hanan Mohammad Al Kuwari met with Deputy Director-General of World Health Organization (WHO) Dr. Zsuzsanna Jakab, in Geneva, Switzerland.
During the meeting, they reviewed joint aspects of cooperation between the State of Qatar and WHO.
They also discussed several important topics, most notable of which was the project to establish a global technical centre of WHO in the State of Qatar, in addition to the strategic dialogue between WHO and Qatar, which will be held in November. Dr. Jakab extended thanks to the State of Qatar for its unconditional contributions to WHO, and its continued support, hailing the efficiency of the health system in Qatar and its important role in confronting the COVID-19 pandemic, in addition to the high COVID-19 vaccination rates of the population in Qatar.
