(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Oct. 20 (Petra) -- Thirteen people were killed and others were injured early Wednesday in a roadside bomb attack, as their bus crossed a bridge in the Syrian capital Damascus.
The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) said two roadside explosive devices went off as the bus was on the President Bridge, adding that a third device was defused by an army engineering unit.
Syrian Interior Minister Mohammad al-Rahmoun stated that this terrorist attack tried to target the largest possible number of citizens, stressing "we will continue to pursue terrorists who committed this heinous crime wherever they are."
