Doha: beIN Media Group, the global sports and entertainment broadcaster, and its flagship sports channel beIN Sports, will bring the prestigious 49th Amir Cup Final live and direct to audiences' screens across the Middle East & North Africa (MENA). The football match between Qatari heavyweights Al Sadd and Al Rayyan will be broadcast on Friday, at 19:00 Mecca Time.
This special edition Amir Cup will also mark the inauguration of Al Thumama International Stadium, the sixth venue to announce its readiness to host the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. The 40,000-seat stadium will also host matches starting from the group stages through to the quarterfinals, in addition to several matches from the upcoming FIFA Arab Cup 2021 in December.
Live Arabic coverage from the Al Thumama International Stadium gets under way from 17:00 MECCA on the beIN Sports Channel, plus there will be an English dedicated studio from 18:00 on beIN Sports English1. Amongst the line-up of studio analysts will be Mohammed Aboutrika, Qatari legend Ibrahim Khalfan, ex Kuwaiti International Faisal Al Dukhael, plus Arsene Wenger and Ruud Gullit.
