senior banker says no comment by Saudi, Emirati authorities on Tunisian banker's remarks


(MENAFN) According to a senior banker, Tunisia’s Central Bank is in innovative discussions with Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to get financial resources.

The local Shams FM radio received the statement from Abdel Karim Lassoud, the bank’s general director of finance and external payments.

There were no marks from Saudi and Emirati authorities on the report.

It is important for the North African country to settle on agreement with the International Monetary Fund in order “to introduce important reforms to the Tunisian economy."
