(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Oct 16 (Petra) – The QS World University Rankings and the Jordanian Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions (AQACHEI) Saturday signed an agreement so that the former would cross-check the data of Jordanian universities for rankings purposes.
The agreement was signed during the QS World University Rankings Summit for the Arab universities in Dubai, the UAE. The rankings of Arab universities were announced in the Summit.
AQACHEI is working to strengthen Jordan universities' position in world rankings, as its president Mr Thafer Sarayrah is poised to strike a similar agreement next week with the Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
