(MENAFN) Palestinian security sources and eyewitnesses stated that on Thursday evening, Oct. 14 Israeli soldiers assassinated a Palestinian young man close to the West Bank city of Bethlehem.
The sources said to Xinhua that the Palestinian young man, whose identity wasn't recognized straightaway, was gunned down by Israeli soldiers in the town of Beit Jala, west of Bethlehem.
The official Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) and eyewitnesses noted that Israeli soldiers shot at two Palestinian young men, left one dead and injured the other.
Israeli soldiers gunned down a Palestinian and detained another after they attempted to hurl a molotov cocktail at Israeli settlers' vehicles close to an Israeli army roadblock between Bethlehem and Jerusalem.
