Jordan participates in meeting of Arab environment ministers council


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Cairo, Oct. 14 (Petra)-- Jordan Ambassador in Cairo and the Kingdom's permanent representative to the Arab League, Amjad Adaileh, took part in the 32nd session of the Council of Arab Ministers responsible for the Environment (CAMRE) that was concluded today in Cairo.
Addressing the council, Adaileh stressed that Jordan, despite the great challenges it faces, is one of the pioneering countries that have a leading role at the regional and international levels in the field of sustainable development and adopting the means that contribute to achieving it.
He pointed out that Jordan adopted a gradual and thoughtful transition towards a green economy, pointing to the Kingdom's launch of an executive plan for green growth (2021-2025), which includes the sectors of agriculture, transportation, water, tourism and energy.
