Ukraine reports 18,881 new COVID-19 cases


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukraine has recorded 18,881 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours.

"Some 18,881 new confirmed COVID-19 cases (including 1,748 cases among children and 368 cases among healthcare workers) were recorded in Ukraine on October 13, 2021," the Health Ministry of Ukraine posted on Facebook.

According to the report, 412 coronavirus-related deaths, 4,633 hospitalizations, and 7,630 recoveries were registered in Ukraine on October 13.

As many as 2,597,275 people in Ukraine have contracted coronavirus, 2,311,991 have recovered, and 59,935 have died since the pandemic began.

The highest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours was recorded in Kharkiv region (1,665), Dnipropetrovsk region (1,232), Odesa region (1,191), Lviv region (1,132), Zhytomyr region (1,107), and Sumy region (1,003).
