Doha: The State of Qatar affirmed that it is following with concern the field developments in the sisterly Republic of Lebanon, calling on all parties to avoid escalation, exercise restraint, and to prevail the voice of wisdom and national interest over partisan and political interests.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed in a statement Thursday the State of Qatar's continued support for Lebanon, and its continued active participation in all international and regional efforts that would ensure stability in the Republic of Lebanon and realizing the aspirations of its people, it also stressed the need for concerted international efforts to find effective solutions to the crisis.
