Lebanon: “The Daily Star” stops posts on its site
(MENAFN)On Wednesday, Oct. 13 the most ancient English-language newspaper in Lebanon tweeted that it would be stopping the update of its site for a brief period of time because of “circumstances beyond our control.”
It has been cruelly impacted by Lebanon’s financial disaster, seen as the main newspaper for Western reporters employed in the nation.
During February 2020, the newspaper declared the brief postponement of its print version due to monetary difficulties, however the edition of the paper has not been released since then.
Established in 1952, The Daily Star turned into one of the number 1 English-language paper in the Arab world.
