Sheikha Moza to share untold stories of QF's first days in TV program

(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Doha: H H Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation, will share unprecedented insights into the first days and years of establishing Qatar Foundation during 'The Untold Stories of QF,' a panel discussion airing on Qatar TV on Sunday, October 17, at 9pm.

H H Sheikha Moza will be joined by some of the most instrumental people in the establishment of QF more than 25 years ago to recall and recount key moments in turning the vision for the organisation into reality, in greater personal detail than ever before.

Filmed at QF's former headquarters in Education City, the panel discussion will be moderated by Al Jazeera newscaster Khadija Benguenna and will feature memories and stories from  Yousef Hussain Kamal, Dr. Ibrahim Al Ibrahim, Dr. Sheikha Abdulla Al Misnad, Dr. Saif Ali Al Hajri, and AbdulRedha Abdulrahman, all of whom played a pivotal role in QF's establishment and evolution — as well as a message from Dr. Fathy Saoud, the former president of QF.

It will explore how the organisation envisioned by the Father Amir H H Sheikh  Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, and H H Sheikha Moza in 1995, and which started with a single school, grew to become a sweeping ecosystem of education, science and research, and community development despite the numerous challenges along the way.
