Doha: Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) has announced the grand prize winner of QR100,000 for the 2021 edition of its annual“Cards Summer Spends” promotion for Mastercard Credit and Debit card holders.
The winner, Aisha Atia was selected using a random electronic draw, which took place in the presence of representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and QIB and was represented by her son Hazem Othman Abdelmajieed.
QIB partnered with Mastercard to launch its annual“Cards Summer Spends” promotion for Mastercard Credit and Debit cardholders to reward their loyalty with individual prizes up to QR100,000.
Customers who used their QIB Mastercard Debit Card internationally or Mastercard Credit Card locally or internationally between June 1 and August 31, 2021 were automatically qualified to win valuable prizes.
Commenting on her grand prize win, Atia said:“I have been banking with QIB a long time ago and I am grateful to them for their continuous efforts in offering wonderful opportunities to win valuable prizes. I cannot thank QIB enough for this reward and for helping me achieve my goals”.
During the campaign period, a total of 13 QIB Mastercard cardholders received weekly cash prizes of QR25,000 each. QIB Mastercard cardholders had one chance for every QR5,000 weekly spend, when using their QIB-Issued Mastercard Debit Card internationally and their QIB Mastercard Credit Card locally or internationally.
