Kurdish units kill Turkish officer, wound three others in Syria -- min.


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ISTANBUL, Oct 10 (KUNA) -- At least one Turkish officer was killed and three others injured in a missile attack launched by Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG) in northern Syria, Turkey's interior ministry said on Sunday.
A special forces officer was killed and three others wounded in the rocket attack carried out by the PKK and PYG, Turkey's Anadolu Agency quoted the ministry as saying in a statement.
On October 7, Turkey announced that one of its soldiers was killed in an attack launched by "terrorists" in the area of Operation Euphrates Shied in northern Syrian. (end)
