Saudi Arabia’s economy recovers with unemployment reduction
(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia’s joblessness declined to 11.3 percent in the Q2 of 2021, a drop from 11.7 percent in the three months to April, as mentioned by investment bank Jadwa.
The company which is located in Riyad informed that the drop reflects the market’s expansionary style in the first six months of 2021 and predicts joblessness to drop even more during the middle of this year and the upcoming one.
The market’s increase was greatly led by a thriving non-oil private industry, which went through a 7.5 percent yearly expansion rate in the period January-June of the present year.
The industry was a main aspect in reducing unemployment numbers and is thought to go on with this path for the rest of 2021, Jadwa also said.
