Main index of Tehran Stock Exchange drops on Saturday to 1.465 million


(MENAFN) On Saturday, the first day of Iranian calendar week, the main index of Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE), TEDPIX, decreased 22,280 points to 1.465 million.

More than 6.431 billion securities valued at 55.327 trillion rials (about USD1.315 billion) were traded at the TSE, according to the report.

The first market’s index fell 21,540 points, and the second market’s index declined 28,668 points.

The index ended on Wednesday, the last working day of the week, at 1.488 million points.

The indices of Social Security Investment Company, Bandar Abbas Refinery, Iran Khodro Company, Sepid Makian Company, and Barekat Pharmaceutical Group were the most widely followed ones during the week.
