Doha: Doha Academy schools had a staff briefing on Saturday October 2nd to ensure that all of the pre-cautionary measures that were announced by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education are met and that Doha Academy Al Waab, Doha Academy Salwa and DIKG are fully ready to welcome back all their students in a safe environment.
Chairperson and Founder of Doha Academy schools and the Al Faleh Educational Holding, Dr. Sheikha Aisha bint Faleh Al Thani, visited the three schools of Doha Academy and attended the briefing sessions along with the staff and teachers.
Sheikha Aisha concluded the sessions by thanking all the senior leaders, teachers and staff who have worked tirelessly during the pandemic to deliver the curriculum online and were always ready to follow any new guidelines from the Ministry of Public Health and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education to ensure safety of the students and the staff.
“Doha Academy schools shifted to the digital and virtual learning very quickly overcoming the challenges imposed by COVID-19 pandemic. Our teams have proven to have done a tremendous job in bringing the best learning experience to the students whether virtually or face-to-face. We are so glad that we can welcome our students back on campus all at once and will make sure to keep them along with our staff safe at all times,” said Dr. Sheikha Aisha.
Principal of Doha Academy Harvey RJ Trump said:“All of our teachers are delighted to be finally welcoming our learners back. Virtual and blended learning has tested our understanding, improved our technological abilities and changed the way we can educate young people in times of difficulty. However nothing, I believe, is better than a class full of eager students and a school that is once again vibrant with youthful enthusiasm.”
