Jordanian-Arab Media Festival 4th edition concluded


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Oct. 5 (Petra) -- Deputizing for Prime Minister, Bisher Khasawneh, Minister of State for Media Affairs, Sakher Doudin, attended the closing ceremony of the fourth edition of the Jordanian-Arab Media Festival, titled "The Jerusalem Session".
The festival, which were launched on Sunday, included many seminars that discussed the festival's key and central issue, which is Jerusalem, through sessions that highlighted the holy city place in the Arab conscience, and Jerusalem in the media, in addition to special shows presented by Jordanian and Palestinian TVs, along with celebrating a Jerusalem-themed night, the festival's higher committee president, Amjad Al-Qadi, said in a speech during the closing ceremony, held Tuesday evening.
Al-Qadi added that the festival was and still is a forum where specialists in various media and technical fields meet, and an incubator for key scientific innovations that helped highlighting the specialty and uniqueness of the media industry at the current stage, in addition to hosting Arab media makers, Arab drama stars, and media professors in Jordanian and Arab universities, and a number of Jordanian and Arab media figures.
On the sidelines of the closing ceremony, Doudin, who is also the government spokesperson, distributed awards to winners of the best radio and television programs and documentaries in Jordan and the Arab world.
