India, Turkey, Uzbekistan to resume flights to Kabul

International Radar has reported one flight from New Delhi, Istanbul, and Tashkent each to land in Kabul International Airport on Thursday, September 30.

It will be the first time Kabul is hosting commercial flights from these countries after the Taliban takeover.

Earlier, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in a letter asked the Indian government to resume their commercial flights to Afghanistan.

The letter which is sent from civil aviation of Afghanistan to civil aviation of India reads that the technical team of Qatar has activated the Kabul International Airport and is fully functional now.

Prior to the exclusive plea, the ministry of foreign affairs of Afghanistan had asked all the countries to restart their commercial flights to Afghanistan.

Currently, Pakistan and Iran are the only countries that are carrying out flights to and from Kabul International Airport.

Qatar is only conducting chartered flights from the airport.
