Taliban: Kabul airport readiness to start global flights


(MENAFN) The Taliban announced that every technical problem at the Kabul airport has been restored and worldwide flights might continue.

The temporary administration in Afghanistan pledged all airlines of full collaboration and declared that it estimated every carriers and nations that had before went to Kabul to continue their flights.

According to Foreign Ministry presenter Abdul Qahar Balkhi, the recent political changes in Afghanistan triggered a series of technical problems in the aviation division as a result of which global flights to Afghanistan were delayed.

Balkhi also stated "As the problems at Kabul International Airport have been resolved and the airport is fully operational for domestic and international flights, the IEA (Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan) assures all airlines of its full cooperation and expects all airlines and countries that had previously flown to Kabul to resume their flights as before."
