China launches second China-Africa Economic and Trade Event


(MENAFN) On Sunday, Sep. 26 the second China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo was kicked off in capital of central China's Hunan Province, Changsha.

As mentioned by the directors, the expo which lasted for four days virtually and on-ground, focused on the themes of "New Start, New Opportunities, and New Accomplishments," and has caught the attention of approximately 900 businesses from around 40 African countries and China.

Shows of the fruits of China-African economic collaboration, African brand merchandise and speciality goods like coffee and nuts, with discussions on collaboration in fields like food and agricultural goods, healthcare sector, financing, infrastructure and the private industry were displayed during the event.

The expo owns a whole exhibition space of 94,000 square meters during 2021, and the guest countries of the event are Algeria, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa and Senegal.
